连词（conjunction简称：conj）是英语中连接单词、短语、从句或句子的虚词。分为并列连词（如and、but、or），从属连词（如because、if、when）和关联连词（如：either...or）。其不能独立充当句子成分，需遵循特定语法规则：并列连词连接平行结构需保持时态一致，not only...but also引导分句需倒装，关联连词either...or需遵循就近原则。部分副词（如therefore）虽表逻辑关系但不属于连词范畴。
